Overview

This project is part of the BBC World Service's effort to move to a new operating system. As part of this, the team needed to rebuild the Uploader Form in the new system to make sure users can keep engaging with our editorial team.

As the UX lead for this project, I worked with our product team to make sure we introduced improvements that were easy to implement while maintaining consistency with the BBC design guidelines.

Intro

In this discovery project, the primary goal was to determine the optimal amount of weather information that the BBC News app should provide before redirecting users to the dedicated weather app.

The focus was on identifying user needs and exploring potential enhancements to the existing weather component within the news app, with the aim of increasing user engagement.

This project was assigned to me during one of my trainee placements, allowing me to delve into UX research and contribute to improving the user experience of the BBC News app.
